Barre Bliss offers a comprehensive 3 Day Barre Bliss Certification for fitness professionals that have a Yoga Sculpt, Group Fitness, Dance, Pilates, or Yoga background. Guided by experts, you will be inspired and given tools to transform your Mind and Body. The Barre Bliss Method and certification is based on Yoga and Dance Conditioning led by trainers with Dance and Yoga backgrounds. We help you create a teaching voice and presence that is authentic and effective.

About Mia Jenneman
Mia Jenneman has taken her 25 years of expertise in Dance and Yoga and created her own Method known as Barre Bliss. A professional modern dancer for over 20 years, Mia has taught over a 1000 master classes and currently owns 2 locations. Mia developed popular class formats for CorePower Yoga and boutique studios for Lifetime Fitness. Mia is passionate about helping people move out of pain and improve their performance through her Barre Bliss method. Mia uses all her talents and passion for healing to help her students see results quickly and move towards their personal goals.

Why Barre Bliss?
Almost all barre classes have trickled down from NYC's Lotte Berk Method. Barre Bliss is not based in Lotte's method. Rather it is based on Mia's years as a classically trained dancer and Yoga practitioner. Barre Bliss does not teach a strong pelvic tuck like other barre exercise methods. As a result of dance, sports and over training injuries Mia focuses control of the "Center" which is the pelvic floor muscles and lower abdominal wall in order to maintain "torso control" and "neutral spine".

In comparison to dance classes where many people feel intimidated, Barre Bliss classes have all types of people. Most people who take classes at Barre Bliss were never dancers but can benefit from the strength moves and graceful transitions based on modern and classical dance.

Barre Bliss stresses the results of the workout but teaches form and position which help create the meditative benefits of yoga that are felt throughout and at end of class. Also, Barre Bliss is inspired by STOTT Pilates technique which uses imagery and precision.

Requirements:
Must have an active barre, yoga, pilates or other type of movement practice. A certification or degree in Dance, Yoga, Group Fitness, Pilates or 5 years teaching experience.

Friday Feb 10th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Introduction and lecture

Saturday Feb 11th 12:00 pm Barre Bliss Basics class and then lecture from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

Sunday Feb 12th 12:00 pm Barre Bliss class and then lecture from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm.

Tuition:
$600 which includes Certification, Materials and 10 classes. Members receive 10% off. $300 deposit or payment in full as space is limited.
